Epoxy.com Product 1000 Fast Setting Trowelable Mortar with Migratory Corrosion Inhibitor is ready to use with just the addition of clean water which activates the modified cement mortar. ADVANTAGES
WHERE TO USEOverhead and vertical patching mortar for: broken or spalled concrete, pavement, curbs, beams, underside of concrete bridges, repointing mortar, stucco. Ideal for setting beds on uneven surfaces where good gap filling properties are essential, and ideal for fast setting of brick pavers and tiles outdoors or indoors. SURFACE PREPARATIONRemove all dirt, grease, oil laitance and curing compounds from concrete, mortar MIXINGPour 135 fluid oz. (4.0 L) of water in pail or mortar mixer. In pail, mix with a slow speed drill and paddle, while adding Epoxy.com Product 1000 Fast Setting Trowelable Mortar with Migratory Corrosion Inhibitor powder slowly to avoid lumps. (Do not over mix; three minutes is sufficient.) If a more plastic consistency is required, add additional water to mix. Should small quantities be required, be sure to use smaller quantities of water. Masonry surfaces or other absorbent surfaces should be dampened but free of standing water. LIMITATIONSStore in cool, dry place. Material should be stored at temperature of 40° F (4.4° C) or higher. APPLICATIONLowest application temperature is 40° F (4.4° C) at the time of application. Be sure mortar is mixed thoroughly to a uniform consistency. Trowel Epoxy.com Product #1000 Fast Setting Trowelable Mortar with Migratory Corrosion Inhibitor in prepared area and allow mortar to stiffen, then produce desired finish by using float or rubber gloves, forcing mortar in voids. If steel trowel finished is required, wet trowel with water. Product #1000 should be protected for first 24 hours after placement from oil, acids, and alkalies. Protect from wind and heat for the first 24 hours. On very porous or weak surfaces, use Epoxy.com Product #825 Primer. To improve bond, apply Epoxy.com Product #825 at a rate of 350 sq. ft (32.5 m²)/gal. for brush application. For spray application, dilute with a small amount of water to a suitable spraying viscosity and apply at a rate of 250 sq. ft. (23.2 m²)/gal. Primer will prevent mix water loss from Product #1000 Mortar into hardened masonry. If no primer is used, dampen masonry surface to which Epoxy.com Product 1000 Fast Setting Trowelable Mortar with Migratory Corrosion Inhibitor is applied. On large surface areas, the use of a good curing compound, meeting ASTM C 309, Type I, or water curing is recommended. Properties

SHELF LIFE12 months in dry protected storage. All materials must be stored indoors. CAUTION:Cement powder or freshly mixed concrete, grout or mortar may cause skin injury.
